Waterview Kindergarten

We had an awful experience here . Glen eden and Oratia kindys were great ( we moved a lot within a year and a half ). This kindy was plain awful my child hated it and had anxiety attacks before going in . Courtney the head teacher who came back made my life a hell , she was just a horrible un caring lady who used to look me up and down dropping my son off . She used to ring me ( I would drive from Titirangi), if he had done a poo . My son went onto thrive at another kindy with no issues . He let a teacher help him toilet on his first day at Henderson valley private kindy . He has thrived there , he’s socially amazing now , he’s very advanced with his reading and writing , has no toileting problems and even hugs his teachers good bye. I cried in the carpark at Waterview as the head teacher was awful , lacked empathy , compassion and was determined that their was something wrong with my son . I believe he simply did not like her . I used to have anxiety attacks dealing with this lady as she would judge me , she was just plain awful dressed in a nice persons clothes . I saw how she treated kids having meltdowns , she didn’t care at all . I would think twice before leaving my child in this woman’s care .
