Target Road School

I went here back in 2018. This school should be ashamed of how they treated me. I was an undiagnosed Audhd child and I was quiet and shy. And for this reason they chose to exclude me in every single class activity, put me in a corner with books to read all school day. I didn’t learn anything. The teachers just did not want to help me learn or socialise with anyone, basically treated me like piece of trash. They out right pulled me out of a school field trip because I was quiet and wouldn’t make a great role model as a student. Every teacher ignored me and how much bullied I was getting. No one ever cared. This school is genuinely the worst school I have ever attended and traumatised my childhood. Shame on you.

My child is being constantly bullied and all the Vice principal says is that they have plan in place but nothing happens my child still gets bullied and Vice principal says again they have a plan in place and that they can't guarantee the safety of my child......Worst place do not send your child there.

The teachers are nice the school is good and the principles very nice but some of the behaviour is not acceptable but I love how u guys are getting are many bike track on the field 😊 I love to see the school in the future BY DRACO GUNBIE.

My daughter was at target road school for one term before I pulled her out because of the behaviour of the other kids. No other school on the shore do they let kids kick, spit and hit other kids without any kind of punishment. My daughter’s bag was thrown in the bin by another student and her school uniform t-shirt was drawn on. This was not an issue for the school, and my complaint was dismissed. My daughter had her hair pulled and developed anxiety due to the constant swearing and threatening behaviour from the other kids and the screaming from the teachers. This school needs a complete overhaul and better management. Upon contacting the Ministry of Education with serious complaints my daughter was able to get a place at a neighbouring school which has been fantastic. My advise to other parents is if you can send your kids elsewhere, please do. Otherwise watch your child like a hawk and don’t put up with the abuse.

My child started here and was injured so many times. There are so many violent children and nothing is done. My child was learning nothing as the other students are out of control. Now at a new school he is thriving. Those years at TRS completely wasted. It’s a shame we live in this school zone and have to apply far away just to avoid. Everything you hear about this place is true.
