I went to St. Paul's for less than a year and ultimately left because I felt unsafe. The stress I experienced there had contributed to a chronic stomach illness that lasted for about a year. Every single day, I was targeted by Seniors who would make fun of my looks, I was excluded from a lot of things within my year group, and while the teachers and staff said it was a safe and supportive environment, I saw genuine fights and bullying almost every single day. Within my year group, I was walking with a person with whom I was mutually acquainted; he was very popular and had many other friends. While walking, he purposefully tried to avoid any seniors because he was afraid of them and afraid of the insults. I think the environment is unsafe, and the bullying problem is very severe. I do, however, believe that the education quality is excellent, and most of the staff and teachers are very easy to talk to and are amazing at their job.
Absolutely fantastic school. I got in through a combination of several of the amazing scholarships on offer and the opportunities afforded to me as a result have quite literally been life changing. The people I’ve met, the teachers I’ve had, all have been utterly amazing. I would recommend this school to everyone.
Is a great environment for both girls and boys to study in with teachers who love and know their subjects. They’re eager to help the students and see them exceed and will therefore go above and beyond what is expected. There is a great atmosphere in the school especially within each house and amazing pastoral support.
