Southland Boys' High School

Out through my time at this school was horrendous, did year 7-12 was bullied by students with lack of support from any deans or teachers. around my last year of school was just trying to get through into I started getting picked from not just by students but by the deans treating me with a massive case of disrespect to a point where the staff that work within the office had taken note of how bad I have been greeting treated by them. Bloody disgusting to think that these deans were ment to the adult in this situation although I don’t believe I was a 5 star student it definitely doesn’t excuse the way I was treated as-well there was clear favouritism towards students and that is not how a school should be ran.

Awful just simply awful

I had the worst experience during my whole high school experience at southland boy’s. Bullying is uncontrollable, the school focuses on spending money towards rugby instead of the new school roofs that was talked about a few years ago..... most of the teachers I had were unwilling to help, I could go on but there’s just too much. The school just went downhill since Baldwin left. The current rector is more focused on the business side of the school rather than the students. Baldwin was actually there for the students, students first.

Awesome school. Great teachers
