Ehh... average school
Average school. I love my teacher he is very nice to us all unless the students in my class are absolute assh*les, otherwise, he is very nice. The only thing i have to complain about is the canteen food prices. 1 cup noodle for $4. You could go to a random supermarket and buy 1 cup noodle for less than a dollar. As well as that, the slushie there is absolutely costly. You need to pay $6 to fill a reusable cup and the cup costs $4 dollars. My god if that wasn't expensive, I'd beg m parents to let me buy one every day. The extension classes are all run by 1 teacher, like maths and writing, but she is really nice. There are more good teachers in the school except for Mrs. Alps. She gave me a red card detention just because I couldn't hear her say anything. Horrible, otherwise, there are still great especially Mr. Lee, thanks for teaching me in year 8!
WATCH OUT ALMOST EVERYTHING IS BAD
VERY BAD SCHOOL the curriculum is terible very all extension classes are run by one teacher (She's Not Bad) absolutly no care for academic excellence whole years go by and the time spent on academic mentions hovers Around 2 hours (thats about one whole assembly and there are dozens in a year) students get shamed for not being good at sports and acamdemic oppertunities are not there.

Think they are better then students (Not all) when on duty they walk around constantly trying to listen to student conversations. When students get in trouble for absolutely no reason, they will often take sides with different students. Even teachers can be racist, biased, and even sexist to students. When giving out punishment they make as big of a deal as possible. The few good teachers left here are great but chances are your child won't get them.

Teachers in Somerville Intermediate are so rude and think they are better than the students. They are also very dramatic when giving out red cards. A student got a red card for feeding the ducks. Teachers also pick on students, and some teachers on duty go around, walking slowly and trying to listen to other students' conversations. When students get in trouble for absolutely no reason, they will often take sides with different students. Even teachers can be racist, biased, and even sexist to students.

news (assault and bullying)
the school has had many counts of bullying and cyber bullying there is a lot of accounts on tiktok even trash talking the school the staff and principal have no respect for their students and care about finishing your homework even though your on holiday maybe in china or something, what happend yesterday with the kids muscle tissue is just outrageous. DO NOT RECCOMEND GARBAGE SCHOOL AND STAFF (ALL THE GOOD TEACHERS LEFT ALREADY)
