Rife with bullying
I was a student at Scots a fair while ago now, but this school was the worst! The bulling was extreme and the teachers on the whole couldnt care less, or as often would happen I was blamed and given punishment. I am gratefull I left and went to a decent public school that gave me the confindence and education that Scots had robbed me of. Do not send your kids here if you want them to actually survive secondary school.
The school needs improvement!
The only good thing was Mr Johnston, the absolute G who is helping me in my school journey. The rest was bad.

Pretty worth it
I love the education system. Like the teachers care and it’s a really good responsive environment. But the higher ups in the school are near robotic arseholes. The school cares way too much about appearances and how ppl see the school instead of how it is actually going. I get never ending shit for my sexuality and gender identity but I don’t really mind that and I’d imagine I would get that everywhere else by whs lmao. I would def recommend Scots if you want to do well but resilience is essential.

Run too much like a business, as in lacking in pastoral support. The teachers are good and I have loved my time here.
