Riccarton High School

This school is okay, It’s just some of the teachers aren’t that great nor the students. Teachers don’t care if students are on their phone during class and if you’re getting bullied or made fun of then the only thing the teachers will tell you is “Your bullies have a hard time at home,” and don’t do anything else. Not to mention it’s an only the second week and we’re already doing about six or seven projects all in different subjects and we’re expected to finish them in a short amount of time. Another thing is that I’m kind of stupid and don’t understand much, whenever I tell the teachers that they don’t believe me and don’t give me much help. One good thing about this school is that there are more good teachers than bad teachers.

Thats pretty much it. I would enjoy this school more if the students weren’t like demons sent from hell

Most teachers are good and genuinely want to help you pass your exams. However, some teachers don't teach well and spend too long on one topic. There was one teacher that whenever you wrote something which seemed "too high level" they would assume you plagiarised it.

school woul d be good if they did something about bullies, but they dont so this school sucks

I got bullied. Every. Single. Day. and got told to kill myself infront of teachers and no teachers care at all, they even joined in and made fun of me. I had to yell at another classmate for illegally recording a tiktok in the changing rooms and nothing was done about that. There were teachers who got uncomfortably close to students, one who even touched and made sexual comment/jokes to students.
My english teacher called me lazy and didn't consisder the fact I have learning disablities and need extra time and help (which wasn't given or even considered)
No internet and they didn't care for our learning.
One time a student was talking and a teacher and, I quote, said, "If you don't shut up, I will come over there and kiss you"... This is illegal...
The school is very unsafe. The new renervations were stupid. The "open window concept" is like candy for children except the children are all dead because theres no curtain to hide from a potenial school shooter. NOT SAFE!!!
DONT LET YOUR KIDS GO HERE! THEY WILL BE BULLY AND THEIR EDUCATION WILL BE A WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME!!!!!

Worst 3 years of my life. Do not go to this school at all.everyday I turned up and got treated disgustingly bad an treated like dirt. Told I was never going to be anything and and everyone one in my family is trash and a problem to society. Best thing I ever did was not waist anymore time at this school. I came there in 2016 and left in 2018, now 2022 I am a fully qualified biological agrculture researcher on $1900.00 a week. No Thanks to riccarton 👎
