Mairehau Primary School

The principal is awful. He is rude and I have heard him shout at children and staff. The school teachers are nice but I don’t like the principal. The grounds need more money spent on them. After the rebuild they should have spent more on the grounds. They cut corners. The buildings were done as cheaply as possible. The junior block is just the old buildings with a coat of fresh paint and some floor tiles. Still got the old windows and doors. Very cheap renovation. The new blocks look nice but they are not well designed. They need some dliding doors between spaces for the teaching spaces. Don’t like the way my kid comes home with notes asking for money all the time. It may be voluntary but it’s a lot. Always asking for gold coins. Education here is not good.
