The school is in an area with lower socio-econmical area with troubled kids. Bullying can be a problem and facilities could be better

Bullying can happen, Be careful
I joined kenakena school in 2017 and my first year was good, but over the few years kids can be toxic and for me personally the toxicness got so bad that I would have panic attacks and wouldn't want to go to school. Of course the bullying side isn't created from kenakena school it can be from parents, but the toxicness can spread to other kids and it makes it hard for you to make friends with the right person, and it just fills the whole school with toxic people. Kenakena isn't the greatest at teaching.
Apparently I was below average for my age with my work, but as soon as I got to collage it turns out I'm above average for my age. This means that I wasn't smart enough, I just wasn't getting taught properly. Not every child learns the same way, DIMC, like another reviewer said, isn't good for learning maths, for most people at least. If they want to help "below average" students, Kenakena will need to learn how to spread it's variety on different teaching methods to help students who have trouble understanding. Changing wording, the way it's set out, different examples, or even just explaining it a completely different way, it will help with learning. Like I said before, no student learns the exact same way, nobody is below average, they just need the problem to be explained, or set out differently.

Maybe don't put your child here
First of all, when I was in year seven, my teacher failed to teach the rest of my class the maths we were supposed to be learning. I had to go to another room for maths because I was good enough at it to basically 'deserve' to do it. We used DMIC as our maths provider, and that didn't work for me, as I was being held back by having to work with people who wouldn't even try to do the work. The work was dull. Bullying happens a lot.
I was bullied in the last two years and either I was told that I was overreacting or to just ignore it. Because of this, the bullying never stopped and I had multiple mental breakdowns and panic attacks because of it. I wasn't allowed to do certain activities that involved team work. When I tried to fight back against the bullying (not physically) I was targeted and then told on by the people who were harassing me, and I usually got in trouble because of it. Out of the many teachers there only a few really tried to help me out but the bullying never stopped. I now have trouble in my day to day life because of all of this. Also you will hear swearing and mentions of inappropriate things coming from five year olds because they are surrounded by teenagers or people near that age.
