Toxic

Anyone who doesn’t line up with their agenda would either have to pretend they do, or risk being harassed by the teachers and students. I would constantly be verbally abused by classmates for saying something to my friend that had nothing to do with them (No teacher would listen to me) , a few teachers who believe in conspiracy theories such as the flat earth theory and anti vaccine theories, so much favouritism from the teachers towards students, and good luck finding anything that isn’t boring to do during morning tea and lunch if you aren’t the sporty type or a primary student. I normally had trouble fitting in anyway because I have autism (they would all make fun of this as well), but the students were on a whole other level of exclusion. They would make fun of anyone who was sitting by themselves or one other friend, they would make fun of anyone who didn’t like to partake in the activities they partake in, anyone who has trouble socialising, etc.Overall a really toxic environment. A few teachers and students (including me) left the school because of harassment and bullying, with one student having their bag thrown in a bin and being beaten up, and a teacher having scenarios made up about them that got so bad they left. Now this school is being shut down due to not complying with the new health and sexuality curriculum which actually looks really useful and I wish I got taught that.
