I am a parent and legal guardian of a child at James Street School.
There were multiple incidents involving my child that I was not informed about at the time. I later raised this, and the school (via school board) acknowledged I should have been told, and promised it would be corrected moving forwards. Despite that, the same issues continued.
My experience shows the school did not follow its own policies or Ministry of Education guidelines, and failed to meet obligations under the Care of Children Act 2004.
This was not a one-off mistake. It is a repeated failure to inform a guardian about incidents affecting their child.
