Hastings Girls' High School

Appalled at the level that this school finds acceptable for our children. Year 11 being taught by student teachers who know nothing about the class or equipment they are in charge of instructing, not providing relevant equipment or ppe and teachers taking over students work and ruining it then refusing to allow the student to rectify. Teachers allowing students to copy other students work for assignments. No clear due dates for assignments as slackers get special treatment, and my child cannot even access bathrooms to use the toilet most days due to vapers. So sad that the people you entrust your children to, to grow in skill and knowledge are failing them so badly.
I'd advise you look anywhere but HGHS if you want your children to succeed and flourish in highschool

Absolutely disgusted in how this school is managed and run , 100% regret enrolling my daughter, would advise to stay well clear if you want the best for your child in there education

I’m only year 10 this year but HGHS is a great school and it’s a good environment to be in , i’ve been in the sports hub both years and it’s been really fun.
