don't even bother coming to this school if you want to pass ncea

the education at this school is horrible. teachers are assigned to teach classes that they know nothing about but are forced to teach. the school is constantly having time off for unreasonable reasons. the principal and deens do nothing for you when you have compants. the classes are always behind schedule and the classes are way too full of students since they decided to mix grades. how do they expect the teachers to have time to make sure every student is doing well when there are so many kids assigned to their classes. I hat this school

Te Kura Tuarua o Taniwharau ( Fraser High School)

Fraser High school is situated in the suburb of Nawton, Hamilton. Because of its location in a lower socioeconomic area, media reports about the school are mainly negative. This heavily affects hamilton’s views on the school.

Fraser High school has so much to offer. I myself was apart of the Aiga Tasi cohort - a group that was established to promote pasifika culture and uphold its values. This was a significant influence in my life as I was around people that were also navigating their cultural and individual identities. I also had experience in mainstream classes before I joined Aiga Tasi. I always held my academics high in priority and was surrounded by teachers who grew my interest in excelling. Fraser is a school that manages to produce and grow students love for all aspects of life - arts, sports, academia. Fraser is an inspirational environment to be in, with teachers that actively work to help its students. I enjoyed my five years there as I had surrounded myself with friends that motivated and inspired me.

Wherever you send your child is risky. Influence plays a huge part in a students life, especially in such an impressionable era. But as long as you are there to support and guide your child in a way that is respectful towards their growing independence - they will be okay! Fraser High School is an amazing school that is authentic, truly diverse, and strong in its cultural values. The memories I made, the achievements I had, and the lessons i learnt, will always be meaningful to me. Will always be an advocate for this school.

Pretty Alright School

While there are a few fights throughout the year, there are really supportive teachers and the health centre is really good for struggling students
