Too many events or activities are made into competitions rather than just learning. Competing in everything means there's an undercurrent of individualism, with students trying to be better than others. Many kids want to learn without competing and without target be in a collaborative environment. Also, seems to be a lot a favouritism shown, with the same kids chosen for everything (because they're seen as the best). There are lots of sports available but they only pick kids who are already good, so hard to get in a team if they just want to play social sport. And, there seems to be a lot of favouritism shown by teachers, with bad or bullying behaviour by favoured students ignored or given a far lesser punishment. Overall, I'm very disappointed by this school.
love this school it could be a bit better but overall way better then cashmere primary I hated cashmere primary for yr 7 moved to cski in yr 8 and loved it
Some teachers aren't great, but there are a few that are very good and care about your grades. The school seems to care about its image and your uniform above everything. Canteen food is overpriced and promotes unhealthy food. There is a thing called SPESH which is very helpfull as it teaches science, tech, art, hardmaterials, and food tech very well.
