Beyond repeated injuries suffered by our 17-month-old while in their care, we are deeply troubled by the behaviour of Bear Park Henderson’s management.
Each time we raised concerns, we were met with inconsistent explanations, delays, and at times dishonesty. For example, being told a manager was “unavailable” only to be put through moments later, or receiving shifting versions of events around how injuries occurred.
As parents, this lack of transparency has shaken our trust completely. A childcare centre should put children’s wellbeing and parents’ peace of mind first – not attempt to cover up or minimise serious incidents.
We are sharing this so other families understand not only the safety concerns, but also the management culture we experienced. Families deserve honesty, accountability, and genuine care – nothing less.
