Misleading and Harmful – A Warning to Other Parents
This school presents itself as a specialist institution for children with ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning differences but our experience has shown this couldn’t be further from the truth.
The behaviour of the principal alone was shocking unprofessional and completely inappropriate, particularly in the language used toward my child. Rather than creating a safe, understanding environment, this school has shown a deep lack of empathy and competence in supporting neurodivergent students.
Despite advertising tailored education and support for children with additional needs, what we found was the opposite. There is no meaningful implementation of strategies to help children with ADHD or dyslexia succeed. Staff clearly lack proper training, and there’s little to no evidence of specialised learning approaches. Children who are struggling are not supported — they are left behind, shamed, and made to feel like a problem.
There are virtually no extracurricular opportunities, minimal physical education, and no outlets for movement or creativity. Children are expected to sit still and be quiet all day. If a child becomes overwhelmed or dysregulated, instead of being offered a proper quiet space, they’re simply told to go stand in the hallway. This is not support it’s punishment in disguise.
To make matters worse, the school bus once left my child behind without anyone checking or contacting me a complete failure in basic safety and communication. Their internal communication is disorganised, reactive, and often completely absent when it matters most.
Perhaps most disturbing of all was the pressure placed on us to increase medication, despite clear guidance from our GP advising against it. It is deeply inappropriate for educators to interfere in medical decisions, especially when they lack the training to understand the full picture.
This school claims to cater to children with additional needs, but our experience has been more damaging than mainstream education. The promises are all fluff the actual support is non-existent.
If your child is neurodivergent, I urge you to think twice. This school does not provide the care, understanding, or expertise it claims to offer.
