Worst choice I ever made to come to ogs , extremely homophobic people aND racist people there . Vaping in every bathroom . Only good thing is canteen food but not many options

Absolutely utterly terrible. Please don't make me go back on Monday. Please I'm begging you. Half of the students are homophobic, racist, xenophobic bullies and the other half Are the bullied. The teachers are ignorant and rude. The principal says SLURS in assemblies. The pride flag is put up for a day at most, until they get a good picture for the school webiste and facebook to show how inclusive they are.

OGHS is a horrible place, and I don't recommend that anyone should go there. I spent 3 years there and now I've moved to LPHS instead. Which is already much better. The girls there are so mean and bully people a lot, and the teachers do nothing about it. Some year 12 students beat up a year 9 student. If you're not sporty or have really good grades there is no hope for you. The principal is very unapproachable and said slurs in assembly. The counsellor would talk about students' problems to others, and called my friends mother when they literally begged them not to. My friend had not black laces on and the drama teacher broke down crying when she wouldn't take them out, then goes and tells her head of house, when no one else cared about her shoelaces. They preach about being inclusive to all and LGBTQ+ people as well. However, in front of everyone, they deadname someone. They put the pride flag up for one day in pride month, then immediately took it down the next day cause someone complained. They don't actually care for LGBTQ+ students at all, even though they say they do.

school is absolutely horrible. they don’t care about your well-being at all. Instead of helping you or try find ways to make school more enjoyable to you they send you to the counciler, the last counciler was heard many times talking about the students who had come to her. The school doesn’t face bullying head on instead they just tell the students to not go near each other. The way of teaching with a lot of the teachers is horrible, they ignore the fact that some students are struggling and focus on the ones who are succeeding and also make the students who are struggling feel little about themselves. the schools cleanyness is disgusting along with the teachers hygiene. there are less than a handful of good teachers at that school, so much bullying, fear of being beaten up everyday, so much judgment from both students, teachers and principal. The principal tends to make a point of making you feel worthless, telling one student that they will “end up in jail”, being rude to her students and makes it a huge chore to come to her school everyday. They focus so much around LGBTQ+ that they make the rest of the students feel irrelevant. LGBTQ+ is of course a very important community but that does not mean that they should be making people who are not apart of that community feel belittled and un listened to. The mental health of the students is their least concern and they only focus on getting the highest grades. Your future in life isn’t important when they make it so hard to continue in life to the point where you give up on learning at all because you don’t think you will be here in the future. The school has made my mental health go so far down hill and couldn’t care less. They make jokes about how you look very happy and say that’ll probably be drained back out of you when you come back to school. This school and the people in it including the teachers and students is disgusting and I seriously do not suggest sending your child here.

terrible. worst mistake going there. would rather be at logan park. girls are absolute feral animals with behavioural issues and cant shut their bloody mouths for shit. teachers are rude and have no idea the leadership skills they need to teach a class of 20 + like cmon man its not hard. unfair circumstances and they only listen to one side and make their mind up without even considering the other sides story. the teach girls that snitching on for everything is okay when in reality they need to keep their asses out of it if it isnt in school time or the child is in a school uniform. they think its okay to have an opinion on the way you live your life when they actually dont and in reality the teachers are more immature than the students. i do absolutely no work because i cbf and they dont even care, surprised i didn’t fail my exams. i ditch like 2 periods a day each week and they haven’t even figured it out. useless school. wouldnt recommend.

they focus on the kids who want to work hard. i feel that the people who need encouragement don’t get it whatsoever. it’s fine if your smart or sporty etc but if you really need help, no ones there. they offer lots of opportunities for you but there’s definitely a fair share of downsides.

Absolute smack school, can have a sesh wherever and teachers dont realise. Teachers are great let you ditch and dont care. Absolute vibe of a school always smells like grape and or cotton candy
