Kids Cave Early Learning

Kids Cave Early Learning Centre is an amazing place for tamariki to learn, grow, and feel valued. All the staff are incredibly caring, friendly, and dedicated. They take the time to understand each child’s needs and support them with kindness and patience. The learning environment is warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed to encourage exploration and creativity. I appreciate how the centre follows Te Whāriki — the New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum — ensuring that tamariki are supported holistically in their learning journey. The team at Kids Cave is passionate about nurturing children, promoting confidence, independence, and a love for learning. I’m so grateful for the positive and enriching experiences they provide every day. Highly recommended to any whānau looking for a safe, inclusive, and inspiring place for their little ones.

I noticed a review that said Kids Cave Childcare was not good. I took my children out December 2024, because there were new owners and old staff were leaving. I have since heard friends telling my husband and I that the owners, new manager and current teachers had changed the centre to a really positive and loving learning environment. I ended up taking my children back and found it to be so friendly, and my kids are getting fantastic care and education. I learnt a good lesson - Rome wasn’t built in a day and I should have given the owners and teachers more time to get established. If people say it is bad they need to look at the past environment not the current one.

KidsCave is such a wonderful, caring, and engaging early learning centre. The teachers are warm, attentive, and truly invested in each child’s growth and happiness. The environment is safe, inviting, and filled with creative activities that spark curiosity. Communication with families is excellent, and you can see the genuine passion the team has for nurturing children. Highly recommend to any parents looking for a place where their child will be valued, supported, and encouraged to thrive.

My child was at this daycare for 3 years, but we had to pull them out due to the new management. Since the change, there's been constant turnover with staff and leadership. My child's teachers left, and the new ones didn't seem to last long. It was disruptive and confusing for the kids.We cant force kids to go day care for unfriendly environment. We have pull out our kid less than 3 months of new management still have have to pay for their notice period which was very unsatisfactory. The quality of care has gone downhill, and it feels like the new management is just focused on the bottom line. I can no longer recommend this daycare.

Lovely small centre with real grass! Caring teachers who care about your child and also their family aswell.
