Bad school

Kaiapoi high school could possibly be the worst school I have ever attended. I learnt nothing and felt like I got rushed and made to do things. I hope if u ever have a kid wanting to go to kaiapoi high school I do not recommend.

1.5km walk for a child to be abducted

Expecting children to walk down a gravel road 1.5kms to a bus stop at their first year of high school.. the road is dangerous with idiots speeding and cutting corners. As the road is especially when her siblings wer collected from the gate. Wish I didn't put my child in here..

Worst school I have been to!

Everything about this school is bad- The teachers, THE STUDENTS!, the immense amount of bullying, the drugs, the vaping, EVERYTHING. I would always be scared and feel unsafe going to Kaiapoi High.

Worst days of my life.

I had a terrible time at Kaiapoi High. There was so much bullying, and it would get very extreme. The teachers were crap and I can't even believe how many fights broke out! I did NOT feel safe there! It's also a very large school resulting in the teachers not giving you much one on one time or help. I watched many of the people I went to primary school with get into things such as drugs, vaping and get very bad mental health. The only good thing about this sorry excuse of a school is the sport.

Worst school ever

I went to this school over 2 years ago now, I was constantly sent to the principals office for bad behavior, what was the bad behavior expressing myself by having a different hair color and wearing a different jacket from the uniform. Who cares school shouldn't be about a focking uniform. 2 years later I'm mentally doing so much better than when I was there they have horrible support for mentally ill people. The bullying is Terrible and the teachers do nothing about it.

Principle is an arrogant sod.

The modern learning environment system has negatively effected the student and teacher satisfaction of teaching and learning. The new buildings the school has built are shitty designs, we now have to share classes with an extra class in the same room, this extra class can be a different year group and may even be tought a different subject.

The leadership team at KHS are shoddy as. The whole senior leadership team need to be reformed and the principle needs to be sacked.

A healthy environment

The new blocks provide an excellent space to learn and work. The teachers are wonderful too, they are very willing and capable if you need help. Next to no bullying in the school which provides for an excellent learning environment. Sometimes some students can be a bit over the top with their personal opinions but usually, they mean no harm.

The honest truth

It is a wonderful school but it needs to improve on a lot to make it a safe and happy learning space
