It is a school I would HIGHLY recommend not to send your kids to. Especially if they have any disabilities (learning, physical, etc) if you or your child uses a wheelchair, they won’t be able to go to half the places in the school. All the ramps are far too steep. If your child has a learning disability (ADHD, autism, dyslexia, etc) the teachers do not know how to teach in a different way that can help your child. The workload in year 7 and 8 is foul. Every single day for 2 years, I cried. Most of the teachers are actually really strict and unkind. It’s quite unpleasant. And there’s no schedule, so if your child needs routine, they won’t get it. I think the worst years for me was year 3, 4, 7 and 8. I have AuDHD and dysgraphia. And the teachers Did. Not. Help.
If your kid is neurotypical, and has friends from kindy or other schools, they’ll be fine. But if they’re not ‘normal’ they’ll have problems
Not a great school for kids who have learning needs or are particularly gifted. If your kid is middle of the road they will be fine. Some great teachers. Weak leadership. Poor comms
