Homeschool , so your kids don't become mindless idiots

Went to this school myself, barely there for a year , few good teachers, but basic manner and authority are all thrown out the window, teachers being called by names instead of being addressed formally, I find this is more a gap of kids not being able to transition properly from primary to highschool - there is no intermediate for them to experience environments without younger audience for kids to mature. And I am absolutely spewing about the content being taught at this school. Sex ed. Not about learning about the body etc. more to do with the fact of them teaching kids about 4 types of genders , what you can identify with, non binary bull, somebody who looks like a boy can feel like a girl ......... What has happened to education - I am appalled. And no I'm not against gay or anything sinister like that, I'm more against the fact that this isn't knowledge we should be worried about what is being taught. I've been out of school for three years, and it was already falling apart since COVID .
They don't care about your kids learning .
As my last year they literally gave me the answers to get me to be up to standards with their grading.

Greymouth High School Review

My experience so far has been very great. The teachers have all been inclusive, nice and interested in who we are as students and invested in our school life. They are always there to help and are easy to talk to. Progress has been made to be inclusive of all and make sure everyone can get education in a way that works for them. There are many different courses and activities for everyone and support is there if you want to do something new. Some things I would like to see more of or changed include: the uniforms (either more available sweatshirts and better shirts that are more comfortable for students) and more classes or breaktime activities advertised for NZSL and Te Reo Māori as some cannot do the full class for Te Ao Māori and I haven't seen the NZSL class advertised in a while. They are national languages and I think they should be included more in our daily lives. Otherwise GHS is a wonderful school and students can thrive here.

1 year of School

It’s a very rough school, had to drop out because I was bullied and excluded from a lot of things, I would have panic attacks walking into class and spend my lunchtimes by myself, my first day I was on my own, and I knew no one there, they didn’t even give me a buddy or a guide to help me, I spent most of my time there crying or going to the counselor, and even then they didn’t help me, slot of the kids there were rude, even to the teachers and they would just let it happen, maybe not everyone had this experience, but it made it hard because no one helped me
